Ayant écrit, réalisé et monté près de cent documentaires dans ma carrière, j’ai pour ainsi dire une longueur d’avance sur un abatteur de poulet chez Flamingo pour tout ce qui concerne les médias, la manipulation des images et le choix entre l’objectivité et la subjectivité. J’ai aussi étudié l’histoire à l’université, simplement pour pousser plus loin une passion personnelle que je nourris depuis l’âge de dix ans. Pour le reste, je suis monsieur tout-le-monde ; j’ai travaillé fort, payé mes impôts sans me plaindre et fermé ma gueule toute ma vie. »
